Ever wanted to play as a mix of Shaun White and your elven wizard? Well, now you can! Dungeons and Dragons Online is bringing back one of its popular features from last summer – the Risia Ice Games, giving players the opportunity to complete various ice-themed mini games and win prizes.
There’s the ice skating rink (located behind the lighthouse) and ice jump (top of the cliff behind the harbormaster’s house) competition at the Harbor. Added to this, at House Phiarlan, there is a half-pipe around the back of Bogwater Tavern.
Reads the official post, “Collect the floating white, blue, and purple ice coins and trade them with the powerful wizard, Jack Frostbite, for wondrous icy gifts, crafting recipe cards, and frosty ingredients for the Risian Eldritch Device at the Lighthouse! Jack can be found at the Bogwater half-pipe or by the Lighthouse ice rink helping to keep the ice cold!”
You can also get ice coins by beating down enemies in PvE as well by taking on fire-based foes. Don’t want to waste time with these games and just want the rewards? All prizes and coins are also available for purchase through the DDO Store.
The DDO ice games are availble July 19th through August 1st so watch Mighty Ducks, sharpen your skates, or do whatever else you need to do to get in the mood for some out-of-season fun.
