DC Universe Online: Pre-Order Incentives and Beta Registration

Superheroism awaits you ladies and gents!

Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has announced several incentives to pre-order DC Universe Online (DCUO). Those who pre-order or purchase the Collector’s Edition of DCUO at launch will receive a statue of The Dark Knight himself, Batman, leaping from building to building in Gotham. In addition to that players will receive a limited edition Art of DCUO book filled with illustrations and depictions within the game, and also a limited edition DCUO: Legends #0 comic by Tony Bedard. Digital downloaders will also receive attention as players who download from Steam and Direct2Drive (D2D) will receive special weaponry.

If you can’t wait, you’re in luck. SOE has also announced that beta registration is now open for those who wish to help fine tune the game for its November launch. To sign up for the beta visit their website and click on the beta registration link.

  7. I have been waiting since November 12th for my Beta Key. I pre-purchased the game from Gamestop, your direct link. I still have not received my Beta Code. Please advise/help. Thank you.

  12. Would like to Beta test DC Universe Online, to help make it the best it can be, and to know whether or not I will spend my time and money on the game.

    I have Beta tested for Everquest and couple of there expansions, Beta tested Dark Age of Camelot and the second expansion, couple other games as well.

    I have not done any gaming for about a year now, after being disappointed with Warhammer online, which I left World of Warcraft for hoping it would be better. Yes I am one of those people who normal has 3+ accounts per game and I stopped cold turkey!

    I will gladly tempt the addiction to Beta test DC Universe Online. Thank you all for your time.

  18. I think it’s really poor advertising, not to mention ethics when you dont honor your own lead-in to receive a free beta key if game is ordered by the November date. Not to honor this is purely bad taste.
