APB Updates Are Heading Your Way!

[singlepic id=778 w=580 h=430 float=none]

APB has gotten off to a slightly rocky start, with all its bugs, errors, and gameplay issues, but fear not!  Things called updates for this game will soon exist and they are coming to an internet near you!  Tomorrow on August 3rd, 2010, APB players will receive the first of hopefully many APB updates to come.  This update will address some of the game’s bugs and issues that were supposed to have been dealt with before the game’s initial release.  The full patch notes have yet to be released, but you can find an incomplete version of the notes on the official APB website right now.  These notes show off some of the games more dominant issues that will be solved in this upcoming patch.  Click here for the 1.3.0 sneak peak patch notes.

Now why stop there?  Obviously APB fans are going to need more then one measly patch to satisfy their enforcer hating hunger.  Don’t worry guys, Realtime Worlds has got your back like a….well you get the gist of it.  APB’s 1.3.1 patch is already underway and Real Time Worlds is giving a sneak preview to what’s in store in their preliminary patch notes.  If you choose to click here and glance at the 1.3.1 patch notes, you can see that the upcoming patch appears to focus on some balancing issues by tweaking some of the weapons stats and changing some of the missions structures.

More info on patch 1.3.1 will hopefully be revealed within the next couple of weeks but be sure to log into APB tomorrow for your 1.3.0 update.

  1. APB is one of the best ideas of a game to be released. Realtime Worlds made a fatal mistake by releasing the game without having any beta’s. The game was released with several bugs, severe unbalanced weapons and upgrades, and much much more. And Realtime Worlds has already promised a big list of fixes soon to come. I approve of 98% of the changes they are making to the game, I only disprove of the changes they want to make to the bounty/Escape! missions.

But in the end, i believe this game will be a very good game worth wasting time on after all the patches are implemented. :)
